This versatile chair, available shipped unassembled (2 pieces), is made by Roger using quality basswood and is ready to finish. The sturdy base is a storage unit for your crafts and supplies, with a side door to access. Just under the seat of the chair is a pull-out shelf that may be used while you are working. The design is an influence from a Scandinavian chair which was built to last!
The chair base is 14.5 inches square, seat is 16 x 16, and total height is 36 inches. The chair back is removable for shipping. It is doweled and may be assembled easily by inserting the towels into predrilled holes. It is recommended to use a good quality wood glue when assembling the chair as well. Brace piece on back of chair is ready to screw in place as well.
